oscar from la rioja has been kind enough to send me a local variety: alegrías riojanas. novelty is the postal format, a grown plant rather than seed! the method is ingenious: soil is wrapped in a wet paper towel, protected in a plastic bag and attached to the bottom of the box with duct tape. it took 2 days to arrive and an extra one for me to pick it up. thus, 3 days in a box in complete darkness was enough to show a great deal of negative gravitropism!oscar de la rioja me ha enviado una variedad local: la alegría riojana. la novedad es el formato postal, una planta en lugar de semilla! el método es ingenioso, el sustrato se envuelve en papel mojado, protegido por una bolsa de plástico y fijado en la caja con cinta adhesiva. el paquete llegó en 2 días y tardé uno en recepcionarlo. 2 días en la oscuridad de una caja fue suficiente para manifestar geotropismo negativo!
