bypass

one of the chinense plants (martinique) sown in january has not developed at the same pace as the rest and has remained rather small. checking out the othe day i realised that the bottom part of the stem seemed rather damaged, don't know really why. the damage probably is not allowing adequate nutrient distribution for plant growth. as pepper plants are able to grow roots from buried stems, i have perfomed a stem bypass this morning, removing some leaves and buring the stem as much as possible. see how it goes.

una de las plantas chinenses (martinique) sembradas en enero no se ha desarrollado al mismo ritmo que las demás y se ha quedado bastante chiquitilla. investigando el otro día descubrí que el tallo inferior parece bastante dañado, no se muy bien por que razón. el daño probablemente no esté permitiendo la adecuada distribución de nutrientes para un buen crecimiento. como las plantas de pimiento son capaces de desarrollar raíces desde el tallo una vez enterrado, esta mañana le he hecho un "bypass" a la planta, deshaciéndome de una parte de sus hojas y enterrando la mayor parte posible de tallo. a ver si funciona.
