shock - big & small / grande y pequeña

couple of issues. first check out the shock in the transplant aftermath. shocked root systems in repotted plants (big pots, bottom right) cannot pick up enough water to sustain transpiration and wilt. non-repotted plants (small potts, upper left) remain unfazed in the strong sun carrying out their usual transpiration. second, here's both ends. left is a bolivian birgit's locoto (baccatum) sown mid january, grown under artificial lights for 2 months then indoors since through natural light. right is a bolivian rainbow (annuum) sown early march, grown under artificial for 2 weeks then natural indoors. what a difference 6 weeks make!

un par de asuntos. el primero el trauma después del transplante. los sistemas radiculares en estado de shock en plantas transplantadas (macetas grandes, inferior derecha) no pueden absorber suficiente agua para mantener la transpiración y se debilitan. las plantas no transplantadas (macetas pequeñas, superior izquierda) como si tal cual continuando su transpiración habitual bajo el sol. segundo, ahí van dos extremos. a la izquierda una birgit's locoto boliviana (baccatum) sembrada a mediados de enero y cultivada bajo luz artificial durante dos meses, para después permanecer en interior bajo luz natural. a la derecha, una bolivian rainbow (annuum) sembrada a principios de marzo y cultivada bajo luz artificial un par de semanas, después natural en interior. vaya diferencia que hacen 6 semanas!
