weather is now warm enough for last season's overwintered plants seeing the light again. it appears we haven't had a real winter this year, it has been rather lukewarm and growth has continued throughout their internment period (notice the lighter shade of green while enclosed), even a few buds have popped up. from left to right, back to front: congo brown, rocoto (Chile), cumari, scotch bonnet, takanotsume, lemongrass, jalapeño and chocolate habanero.
initial potting carried out (see the infamous 7 pod & naga morich seedlings) and second batch of seeds gone underground, including 3 varieties for the C2CPC seed replenishment project (PI560944 putapario, yatsafusa and wild grove).
